Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit…and the door which gives access to the other sacraments…”

Baptism for Infants & Children

Our parish family looks forward to welcoming your child into the Catholic Church. The Sacrament of Baptism is the first sacrament which begins initiation into the Christian Community.

The Sacrament of Baptism is offered seven days a week throughout the year (except during the Lenten season). Only parents or legal guardians may request baptism for their child(ren).

A godparent must be a confirmed, practicing Catholic and at least 16 years of age. You may have one or two godparents. If you have two, they must be one male and one female.

To schedule a baptism, please contact the Parish Office.

Baptism for Adults

Baptism of adults is provided through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). RCIA prepares adults (both unbaptized and already baptized) for full initiation into the Catholic Church and Faith.

Learn more about RCIA at St. Rose of Lima Parish.

For more information or to schedule a time to have your child(ren) baptized, please contact the Parish Office at (603) 444-2593 or via email at srlandols@gmail.com.
